About the skin

The skin has a large number of nerve receptors just below the surface and respond to stimuli such as touch, temperature and pain. The most outer layer of the skin, the epidermis, varies in thickness between 50 and 150 microns. The epidermis is tough and protects our body. The NayaTouch Series 1 is designed to create tiny micro-channels at a 300  and 600 micron depth in the skin to allow for effective penetration of the NayaFeeling Solution. At full penetration, the 300 micron microstructures rest comfortably above the nerves that live in the dermis (the second layer of the skin), while the 600 micron microstructures just meet the nerve receptors.
